Brief Introduction

       Imaging platform was established in May 2013 and affiliated with Core Facilities, Zhejiang University Center of Neuroscience. Imaging platform is devoted to provide advanced biological optical imaging devices and superior technology services for teachers and students.

      The platform opens for 24 hours to independent operators with qualification certificates. People without an independent operation certification are allowed to use instruments during working hour (9:00 - 17:00) in working days. Please contact the personnel in charge in advance for special requirements.

        The imaging platform is equipped with two-photon laser scanning microscope, total internal reflection microscope, laser scanning confocal microscopy (inverted), Zeiss laser scanning confocal microscopy (upright), lonscope scanning ion conductance microscopy and 64-channel neural data acquisition system. The platform is now capable of performing long-time two-photon laser scanning, in vivo imaging in living cells and deep tissues, FRAP, FLIP, FRET, and multi-purpose imaging combined with patch-clamp.

        Teachers and students are welcome to use the instruments and devices and we also welcome suggestions for a better operation system and better service efficiency.
